The Center for Future Energy Systems (CFES) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute announces its 2011 Annual Conference and Industry Advisory Meeting.
The purpose of the Conference, consisting of an oral presentation session, a poster session with reception, and a dinner, is to showcase the leading-edge energy research at RPI and its partner Cornell University, to promote academic-industry research collaboration, as well as to provide an opportunity to all with interests in energy to meet and to exchange ideas. The oral presentations will highlight CFES core research thrusts in the areas of energy storage, solar and wind energy, smart lighting, smart buildings,
and smart grid. The poster session will feature more than 50 invited posters from CFES researchers covering a variety of topics related to energy. The dinner will include a speech by The Honorable Paul Tonko, US Congressman representing the 21st District of New York.
