CFES promotes the transfer of technology to industry, enhancing commercially viable product development in the private sector.

CFES actively partners with industry, government and educational organizations to advance fundamental or applied research in energy materials, devices, processes, and systems integration of emerging technologies. Industry partners can engage CFES in a number of ways:

  • Collaborate with expert faculty through sponsored research
  • Access Center facilities and laboratories through a facility use agreement
  • Receive assistance in applying for federal or state funding for your research
  • Technology transfer opportunities and licensing
  • Assistance with developing business plans
  • Technical consultation assistance
